SUPERANNUATION ? WHO PAYS

The Gillard Government claims the Mining Tax will pay for the 3% increase in superannuation.

This is a con job! Employers pay the compulsory superannuation.

An increase from 9% to 12% will be borne by the employer, or offset against wage increases.

But wait ! The Federal Government is an employer, so in a limited sense it needs an increase in tax revenue to reward its public servants for hopefully voting for them at the next election.
