WHAT A MESS??
We are continually being asked to focus on the Leader.
Constitutionally we vote for a person to represent our electorate in our
interest. Our elected representative then votes on the formation of a
government. Those consequently forming government indicate to the Governor
General the person they want as Prime Minister.
We do not get ballot papers on which to vote for the Prime Minister.
What we have seen recently is a complete shambles. Bluntly, it would appear
Kevin Rudd is for Kevin Rudd, and those that control the Unions control the
Labor Party.
Blind Freddy can see that if Labor candidates are successful in forming the
next Government after the coming election, Kevin Rudd could be replaced by a
person more favoured by the Unions. That is why Kevin Rudd is presently more
focused on changing Labor Party Rules than in governing in the interest of
the Australian people at large.
Hopefully the majority of the voting public will focus on voting for local
candidates who have their interests at heart, and not beholding to those
wanting to flex their muscles and/or get their snouts in the trough!
